Delivery
We strive to meet your preferred delivery dates but cannot guarantee them due to reliance on third-party couriers and potential delays from weather or ferry cancellations. Shipping fees are non-refundable in such cases. All perishable gifts are marked "Authority to Leave" and will be left at the specified address. For detailed delivery information, please refer to our Delivery Information page.
Delivery time frames provided by couriers take precedence over any dates entered during checkout. For example, if you select next-day delivery but the destination requires 2–3 days, next-day delivery isn't feasible.
If tracking indicates delivery but the recipient hasn't received the parcel, first verify the provided address. We can request proof of delivery, such as a photograph, from the courier. If necessary, we'll need the recipient's phone number to investigate further.
Providing an incorrect delivery address that results in delivery to the wrong location is beyond our control. Couriers fulfil their obligations by delivering to the address provided and cannot retrieve the parcel afterward. In such cases, refunds aren't available. Please double-check all delivery details before finalising your order.
For rural deliveries, including Waiheke Island, expect an additional 3–4 working days beyond standard delivery times. This applies to all R.D. addresses and certain outlying towns outside normal courier zones. The final delivery leg is managed by third-party contractors (NZ Post rural postie), and we have no control over their schedules. If you prefer your gift not to arrive earlier than a specific date, select a delivery date later than needed or arrange for a neighbour to collect the package. Returns and Refunds
If your gift sustains damage during transit, notify us within 2 working days of arrival with accompanying photographs. We will refund the damaged portion or provide a replacement as appropriate.
To cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us promptly. Note that payment gateway fees of 4% incurred at the time of order are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund. Orders already dispatched cannot be cancelled.
Fraud:
Through the website we get alerted if an order is deemed to be high risk of fraud. If this happens the order will be refunded to the credit card immediately, should you wish to continue with the order we will require bank payment via Poli direct to our bank account.
If you have a charge from us on your credit card and you believe it is not yours, please contact us immediately on info@treegifts.co.nz together with your phone number.
Product Substitution:
Treegifts.co.nz reserves the right to make minor changes to products in order to expedite delivery. Every effort is made to deliver our gifts as presented on our website, however in the event of any supply difficulty we do reserve the right to substitute goods of the same type or equal or greater value.
An example of this may be where a particular flavour biscuit is ordered and not available – a different flavour will be chosen for your gift box to the same value, or a specific hand lotion scent may be substituted for another.

The size of trees and plants can vary from those pictured due to the time of year and where they are within their growing cycle - of course, being living, they will grow.
Database / Client Information:
As a customer, when you agree to sign up to our database, your information becomes an asset of Treegifts.co.nz. In the case of sale of the business our database of client information will become part of the sale of the business to any new owner. You have the right to remove yourself with the unsubscribe button on all emails or via letting us know on info@treegifts.co.nz at any time that you would like your data removed.
